Code of Conduct

Stakeholders are increasingly focused on social and environmental transparency throughout the supply chain.
They expect not only visibility into KOSTAT Inc.`s own operations, but also into the efforts of our suppliers regarding labor and human rights, occupational safety, and environmental responsibility.
Stakeholders now evaluate companies based on how far their supply chain due diligence extends, quantifying the scope and transparency of supplier practices.
This growing concern stems from the risk that violations of labor and human rights, as well as non-compliance with environmental or safety standards, could lead to serious reputational and operational risks, not only for the violator but for the entire supply chain.
In response, KOSTAT Inc. is committed to both internal and external accountability.
Through the use of Code of Conduct guidelines, we regularly assess and analyze the company`s social and environmental performance. This helps us set clear targets and directions for continuous improvement.

Conflict Minerals

Conflict minerals refer to resources that are linked to human rights abuses and the funding of armed groups. The key minerals associated with this issue are commonly referred to as 3TG (Tin, Tungsten, Tantalum, Gold).
The concept of "conflict minerals" gained international attention between 2000 and 2010, during the civil war in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). In regions surrounding the DRC, profits from mineral sales were often funneled to armed groups, and mining operations were frequently associated with human rights violations such as child labor and exploitation.
To prevent such abuses, legislation such as the U.S. Dodd-Frank Act was introduced, prompting many global companies to verify and disclose the origins of the minerals they use. These companies are making ongoing efforts to ensure that their sourcing of tin, tungsten, tantalum, and gold is free from connections to conflict or human rights abuses.

Sharing-Based Management

At KOSTAT Inc., we envision a society where sharing brings happiness and hope, and where we grow together in harmony with our neighbors.
Through transparent and sound business practices, we contribute to the national economy while also actively engaging in ongoing social contribution activities, taking the lead in building a better, more inclusive society.
